DALLAS – UAB junior Trey Jemison has been named to the 2021 Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league announced today.
Jemison, who has a perfect 4.0 GPA at UAB, is majoring in construction management.
The Clemson transfer is a two-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
On the floor, the 7-0 center ranks 17th in the country in blocks with 55 and 26th in blocks per game with 2.2. He is third in Conference USA in both categories. Additionally, the Birmingham native is fourth in the league with 178 rebounds and sixth with 7.1 rebounds per game.
“I am honored to be selected to the Conference USA All-Academic Team in my first year at UAB,” said Jemison. “It’s a blessing to be a part of such an amazing group of people.”
UAB (19-6, 11-5 C-USA) is in Denton and will take on North Texas (13-7, 9-3 C-USA) on Friday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
