From the Desk of Sebring President and GM Wayne Estes

As the 69th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts rapidly approaches, two deadlines are coming even quicker.
First, advance ticket sale prices end March 8 (see story below).
Second, we offer our loyal patrons something new, a chance to purchase event merchandise and have it delivered to your address before you make your trip to Sebring, but you must act quickly.
This weekend only, you may go to sebringpx.com and order this year’s merchandise before anyone and wear it to the track.
Please note, for you to receive your merchandise before your trip, you must order before Monday.
A special page on sebringpx.com tells shoppers all they need to know about this special opportunity.
And, if you want to wait until you arrive, the Sebring PX location on the Midway will be open with all the 2021 merchandise on Saturday, March 13, at the Sebring SportsCar Week races.
New offerings include a T-shirt featuring this year’s poster artwork with the orange globe that firmly places Sebring in the center of the sports car world.
Other new items include hoodies for men and women, beautiful V-necks for women in pink or blue, a Green Park T-shirt, and a heritage shirt that gives a nod to Vic Elford’s Porsche victory 50 years ago.
Note that all items will ship on March 11 for delivery before race day.
As the world continues to work through its challenges, the Sebring staff wants this year to be a bit more normal, though we still have certain restrictions in place so that all of us may do our parts to make the world a healthier place again.
For the first 1,000 ticketholders through the gate on Wednesday, we will have coupons for free Pepsi, Little Caesar’s Pizza and a Yuengling sampling Wednesday evening.
For those who can’t get enough racing in four days, we’ve added an extra day on the Saturday before with the inaugural Sebring SportsCar Week races. For $20, fans can see a full day of racing featuring Porsche Sprint Cup, IMSA Prototype Challenge and Masters Historics.
After the last checkered flag March 13, fans with RVs who attend Saturday’s SportsCar Week races may show their tickets to be among the first to line up for Wednesday’s March 17 gate opening.
Staging will open to all others Sunday morning (March 14) at 9 a.m.
Of course, the big event is the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Presented by Advance Auto Parts on Saturday, March 20, and this year’s event boasts a stellar line-up of entries, including last year’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring champion Mazda team, Rolex 24 champion Wayne Taylor Racing, July’s Cadillac Grand Prix winners Action Express, and a second Action Express Cadillac driven by seven-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson.
Pre-race will include an unveiling of the 2020 champions banner on the pit structure, a live performance by Lee Greenwood, fireworks, parachutes and flyover, all presided over by Grand Marshal and former MLB all-star pitcher Thomas “Flash” Gordon.
Be safe, be responsible, stay well, and enjoy the event that makes Legends 12 Hours at a Time.
