BOCA RATON, Fla. – Brian White, Florida Atlantic University’s vice president and director of athletics, has announced the program will conduct a national search for the next head coach of the FAU women’s basketball program.
Statement from Brian White:
“We thank Coach Jabir for his efforts and his service while leading the FAU women’s basketball program,” said White. “We wish Jim and his family the very best in their new endeavors.
“We will move quickly to find the right coach to lead our program with a national search beginning immediately. Feedback from our student-athletes will be very important as we look forward to finding the next leader for FAU women’s basketball. I’ll be meeting with our team to get their input as we begin the search.
“This job will generate a great deal of interest with all we have to offer here in Paradise.”
White will not be available for further comment until a hire is announced.
