USF Men’s Soccer Standout Victor Claude’s Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Claudel recorded his first career goal against Marquette on Sept. 6.

TAMPA (Sept. 9, 2019) – USF men’s soccer standout Victor Claudel (Strasbourg, France) has been named to the America Athletic Conference weekly honor roll the league announced on Monday. It is Claudel’s first weekly honor.

A freshman forward, Claudel helped USF to its first win of the season, a 2-1 victory over Marquette on Sept. 6, by netting his first career goal and USF’s first goal of 2019. Claudel fired off three shots against the Golden Eagles with all coming on frame. His three shots were just part of a 26-shot onslaught by the Bulls on Marquette.

The Bulls return to the pitch on Monday, at 7 p.m., when they welcome RV/No. 5 Louisville to Corbett Stadium.
