USF Men’s Golf Places Two on the AAC All-Conference Team

Sophomores Shubham Jaglan and Jake Peaccok earn All-Conference honors

Tampa, FLA. May 2, 2023 – Two Bulls, Shubham Jaglan and Jake Peacock, have been named to the AAC Men’s Golf All-Conference team. The honor is the first for each of them.

Jaglan, a sophomore, finished the season with a scoring average of 71.94, his best as a Bull. He led the team with nine rounds in the 60’s and was second with 15 rounds of par or better. Jaglan posted two Top 10 finishes and was tied for the team lead with seven Top 25 finishes.

Peacock, a sophomore who transferred to USF in June 2022, led the team with a 71.66 scoring average in his first season as a Bull. Peacock earned AAC Player of the Week honors as he led the Bulls to a win in the Ross Collegiate Classic. In that tournament, Peacock shot all three rounds under par and closed with a 66 to finish third. On the season, he had three Top 10 finishes and led the team with 18 rounds at par or better. He tied with Jaglan for the team lead with seven finishes in the Top 25 and was second to Jaglan with eight rounds in the 60’s.

The USF men’s golf program has captured 17 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won five American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four-consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn nine straight NCAA Regional appearances, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 20 tournament wins under Bradley entering the 2022-23 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
