UF S&D: Gators Add Three Divers to Roster

Chloe Bishop, Peyton Donald and Conor Gesing join Florida Diving

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Swim and Dive team added three divers to the squad, head diving coach Bryan Gillooly announced Friday.

Chloe Bishop, Peyton Donald and Conor Gesing will joining the Gators roster next season. All three divers come via transfers from Power Five programs.

Bishop, originally from Jupiter, Florida, comes to Gainesville after a stint with the Texas Longhorns. A member of the 2021-22 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team, Bishop was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll three times (Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2022). Prior to Texas, she won the Platform at the 2021 USA Diving Zone B Championships, while also being named to the United States roster for the 2021 FINA World Junior Diving Championships in Kiev, Ukraine.

Donald, the brother of senior Florida diver Skip Donald, transfers to Florida from Stanford. Donald qualified for the 2023 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships last March in Minnesota, finishing 40th in the 1-meter to complete his freshman season with the Cardinal. Before Stanford, Donald was the captain of the Grand Oaks High School team in Springs, Texas, where he finished second in the Texas state meet and was named a two-time All-District, two-time All-State, two-time All-American while in high school.

Gesing was just recently named to the USA Diving High Performance Squad, one of only 108 divers in the country to earn the honor. A graduate of Abington High School in Pennsylvania, Gesing was a three-time District 1 AAA Boys Diving Championa and a three-time finalist at the 2021 USA Diving Zone A Championships, including a finalist in the 3-meter at the 2021 USA Diving Junior National Championships.
