UAB WBB Opens Continues Texas Roadtrip With UTSA On Saturday

SAN ANTONIO – UAB continues opening weekend in Conference USA play by traveling to San Antonio to face UTSA on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

UAB LATELY
UAB (8-4, 1-0 C-USA) is coming off a 76-74 overtime victory at UTEP on Thursday night. Emily Klaczek’s 3-pointer with eight seconds left in regulation sent the game into overtime and UAB outscored UTEP 7-5 in the extra period.

UTSA LATELY
UTSA (3-9, 0-1 C-USA) fell to Middle Tennessee 85-56 on Thursday evening. The Roadrunners are 2-3 at home this season.

UAB AND UTSA HISTORY  
The series began in 2014 when UTSA joined Conference USA. After splitting the series’ first four games, UAB has won the last five. The teams have met once in the C-USA Championship with the Blazers defeating the Roadrunners last season. UAB leads the series 7-2 and 3-1 at the UTSA Convocations Center.
