| DETROIT – Dec. 31, 2021 – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the club has signed Jaysean Paige to a 10-day contract using the COVID-related hardship allowance. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Paige, 6-2, 200, has appeared in 14 games this season with the Maine Celtics, the Boston Celtics NBA G League affiliate. He posted averages of 16.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 45.5% from the field, 36.6% from three-point range and 87.0% from the free throw line in 26.3 minutes per game. Paige played 41 games for Maine during the 2019-20 season averaging 11.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 23.4 minutes per game. Undrafted out of West Virginia, he played two seasons for the Mountaineers (2014-2016) and posted averages of 9.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 17.9 minutes over 69 games.
