BIRMINGHAM – UAB Athletics is excited to announce Blazers Give Day, a 24-hour fundraising event set to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 29 to coincide with Giving Tuesday.
Blazer nation is invited to join Blazer Boosters and collectively impact the experience of more than 450 student-athletes by directly supporting its 18 sport programs and spirit teams. All funds raised will be utilized to enhance each sport specific gift account which provides the resources for UAB coaches to continue building championship caliber teams.
“Our fans have provided a tremendous amount of support to Blazer Athletics,” said UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram. “That support has led to great success, along with an invitation to join The American Athletic Conference. Now, more than ever, we need you to join Blazer Boosters as well as recruit someone else to participate with us this year. Championship trophies require a championship-level investment. Let’s continue to Win as One!”
UAB Athletics encourages its alumni, former student-athletes, fans, faculty, staff, friends, and families to show their pride by giving back to UAB sport programs and Blazer student-athletes.
