8. Wisconsin
9. Florida
10. Auburn

OTHER TEAMS TO MENTION (OTM): Iowa, Boise State, and Wake Forest

RANKINGS ANALYSIS: As you can see, teams ranked #4 to #10 remain the same…I had to change my rankings around based on how Clemson was under-performing in a 21-20 road win over North Carolina. The Tigers, who held onto win by the skin of their teeth, better use this bye-week to get ready for an Oct.12 home game against rival Florida State. Don’t get me wrong, all kinds of national championship-caliber teams take on tough challenges, including road games that get tougher than expected and handle the unexpected. Clemson will keep winning an winning and are good enough to get that #1 ranking back… Alabama moves from #2 to #1 based on performing good as expected in a 59-31 home win over Mississippi. It was the Tua and DeVonta Show out there. The Crimson Tide will have a bye-week prior to an Oct.12 road game against Texas A&M… Georgia moved from #3 to #2 in spite of being on a bye-week this past week. The Bulldogs will have a road game against Tennessee this SAT (7 PM, ESPN)…#4 Oklahoma came off a bye-week to have a 55-16 home win over Texas Tech. The Sooners have a road game against Kansas this SAT (Noon, ABC)…#6 LSU remains where they are at in spite of having a bye-week this past week. The Tigers have a home game against Utah State this SAT (Noon, SECN). Those Tigers better not sell USU Aggies short because they are an offensive football team who has a 3-1 mark…#7 Penn State was very dominant in a 59-0 road win over Maryland, who I thought was capable of getting a couple scores on the board because of a great rushing attack they have, this past FRI. The Nittany Lions will have a home game against Purdue this SAT (Noon, ESPN)…#5 Ohio State continues to be dominant. The Buckeyes manhandled Nebraska in the Cornhuskers’ home stadium (Memorial Stadium) like you wouldn’t believe. Ohio State has a home game against Michigan State this SAT (7:30 PM, ABC). The Buckeyes better not sell those MSU Spartans short….We will have a showdown of undefeated teams as #10 Auburn at #9 Florida this SAT (3:30 PM, CBS). I have those Florida Gators ranked ahead of those Auburn Tigers because I think the Gators will prevail over those Tigers. Whoever loses this game will likely help a team with one loss get back into the top ten or OTMs….#8 Wisconsin came off a tougher than expected 24-15 home win over Northwestern. The Badgers will continue to keep winning for however long possible. Wisconsin will play a home game against Kent State this SAT (Noon, ESPNU)…Iowa is coming off a 48-3 home win over MTSU but the Hawkeyes’ OTM status is at stake in a road game against Michigan this SAT (Noon, FOX). The Wolverines have waited over 1,000 days for a rematch after the Hawkeyes beat those U-M Wolverines on a last play FG in a 2016 home win…Boise State is on a 4-0 start and should have a breeze in a road game against UNLV this SAT (10:30 PM, CBSSN)…Wake Forest has a bye-week this SAT following a 27-24 road win over Boston College to get onto a 4-0 start before an Oct.12 home game against Louisville. I have the Demon Deacons among my OTMs because they will keep winning until a likely road loss against Clemson on Nov.16…
