Porfirio Re-Enters Singles Rankings, Lynn Men’s Tennis Tabbed No. 12

Tempe, Ariz. 
– Despite winning its last two matches of the regular season, Lynn University’s men’s tennis team dropped two spots to No. 12 in the latest release of the Oracle/ITA National Rankings.

Since last Wednesday’s release of the rankings, the Fighting Knights took down Florida National and Embry-Riddle, finishing the regular season with their best Sunshine State Conference record (7-1) since 2014.

Around the SSC, Barry (No. 2), Saint Leo (No. 4) and Rollins (No. 10) are slated ahead of Lynn, with Palm Beach Atlantic (No. 23) not far behind.

In the singles national rankings, Kay Bartmann remains ranked for the third consecutive week, coming in at No. 59, while Jose Porfirio Ordonez makes his return to the ranks at No. 65.

Bartmann and Florian Clemares moved up two spots to No. 31 in the doubles rankings.
