Bobrovsky reached his 500th NHL game on Feb. 10, 2020 at PHI, just prior to the NHL’s pause to the 2019-20 season. The 75th goaltender in NHL history to reach the 500-game mark, upon reaching the milestone Bobrovsky became just the third Russian-born goaltender to play 500 NHL games.
  • Among active goaltenders who have played 500 NHL games, Bobrovsky ranks eighth in wins (292) and tied for third in save percentage (.917). The two-time Vezina Trophy winner owns a 9-3-1 record over his last 13 appearances, tied for third-most wins among NHL goaltenders since Feb. 25. Over that span, Bobrovsky has posted a .917 save percentage.
  • Bobrovsky owns a 7-2-2 record on home ice this season. Over his past four starts at BB&T Center (since March 13), Bobrovsky owns a 3-1-0 record and a .935 save percentage.
  • The Panthers enter tonight on a season-high three game home winning streak.   • Jonathan Huberdeau enters tonight’s game on a four-game point streak, recording six points (3-3-6) over that span. He produced a three-point performance (2-1-3) on March 28 at DAL, marking his fourth game with at least three points this season and his third multi-goal game.
  • Huberdeau leads the Panthers with 42 points, 28 assists and 18 power-play points. His 18 power-play points ranks fifth in the NHL. Over the four-game span, Verhaeghe scored a game-winning goal and produced a career-high four points on March 27 at DAL, scoring a hat trick consisting of an even-strength goal, power-play goal and shorthanded goal. He leads the Cats with 29 even-strength points, tied for seventh-most among NHLers. In the month of March, Verhaeghe recorded 10 goals, tying for the third-most in the NHL.
  • Noel Acciari enters tonight’s game with five points (1-4-5) over his last six games. Over his last six games, Acciari has produced a team-leading 56.6 faceoff win percentage and 16:26 shorthanded time on ice, the most among FLA forwards. The 29-year-old native of Johnston, R.I., leads all FLA forwards with 44 blocked shots and 64 hits. Over 16 games in March, Acciari posted 10 points (3-7-10).
  • MacKenzie Weegar‘s 26 takeaways are tied for the most by an NHL defenseman this season. He leads Florida’s D-men in even-strength scoring with 18 points, tied for fifth-most among NHL defensemen.   • On March 31, the Panthers signed 2019 1st round pick Spencer Knight on a three-year, entry-level contract. A Top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, the 19-year-old goaltender completed his sophomore season with Boston College in 2020-21 appearing in 21 games and owning a 16-4-1 record, .932 save percentage, 2.18 goals against average and three shutouts.
  • On April 1, the Panthers agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract with University of North Dakota defenseman Matt Kiersted. The 22-year-old appeared in 29 games in 2020-21, registering 22 points (3-19- 22), leading all UND defensemen. He ranked tied for fifth among all NCAA defensemen in points, tied for second in assists and finished as runner-up for the 2020-21 NCHC Defensive Defenseman of the Year.

GREAT MOMENTS IN PANTHERS HISTORY
April 5, 2018: Roberto Luongo appeared in his 1,000th career game in a 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins at BB&T Center. He became only the third goalie in NHL history to reach the 1,000-game mark.
