- Kevin Connauton and MacKenzie Weegar led Florida with five hits each. Weegar also produced an assist on Barkov’s goal.
- Jonathan Huberdeau notched his 17th assist of the season on Barkov’s goal. He has produced 17 points (6-11-17) through 13 games in February.

“It was one of those nights where we caught a break with the momentum slowing down there (in the third period). (Dallas) seemed to play a pretty good game, we didn’t seem to be generating a whole lot at any point in the game…All of a sudden, we captured a little life. Great response all the way through it and it was a big win for us. We feel fortunate, don’t expect to win many like that.”
“I thought he [goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky] was excellent. I’d call that a goalie win. (Dallas) had some real good quality looks, in every period he kept us in there and gave us a chance that maybe something could happen in the third and we found a way. Bob was the reason why.”

“The last 10 minutes we were all over them. It was just a matter of time that we were going to score. Finally got a lucky bounce, we didn’t get any lucky bounces last game, but it got us going with a couple more goals and we won the game.”
