Miami Dolphins Travel to Bahamas for Hurricane Dorian Relief

DETAILS: ​As part of the Miami Dolphins continuing hurricane relief efforts, staff and alumni are traveling to Freeport, Bahamas on Saturday, Oct. 5. Dolphins alumni and team staff are traveling with Mission Resolve Foundation and The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to distribute fresh water and relief supplies. The team also has coordinated youth football and rugby games for local children, and will provide care packages to families in the community. In addition, the team has made a financial donation to assist Mission Resolve in these efforts.

​This follows the Dolphins on Friday, Oct. 4 traveling to Nassau. During the visit, staff and alumni visited the Children’s Emergency Hostel to deliver supplies, serve food and interact with the youth in residence. The group visited a shelter and worked closely with World Central Kitchen to pack meals for those impacted in Abaco.
