| Team releases RB C.J. Anderson Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have been awarded RB Paul Perkins via waivers from the New York Giants. In addition, the Lions released RB C.J. Anderson. Perkins comes to Detroit after spending the previous three seasons with the Giants, who selected him in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft out of UCLA. He has appeared in 25 career games (five starts) and has totaled 153 rushing attempts for 546 yards (3.6 avg.) and 23 receptions for 208 yards (9.0 avg.). |
