(On being involved in various trade rumors) “It’s a business. God forbid that was my last game as a Jet; it’ll be disappointing to go out like this. I don’t want it to ever go misconstrued or mistaken that my all has been to get us to the top, to the Super Bowl. Hopefully I’m still here so I can continue to try and work on that, but I can’t call it.”
(On if the trade rumors were on his mind during the game) “No, that’s a distraction. I’m here now. I’m still a Jet and I haven’t been told anything. I’m here to do my job.”
(On if it will be stressful to wait to see if he is traded) “No, I’m a big believer in what’s meant for you is going to be meant for you. If that’s a part of my destiny, if it’s not, I’ll just take it for what it is.”
(On why the Jets’ offense struggled after their opening touchdown drive) “I don’t know. I’ve got to watch the film. A lot of times my back is turned, so I don’t really get to see anything. So I really don’t know.”
(On why the Jets’ offense has never gotten in a flow) “We’ve been losing, it’s frustrating, very frustrating.”
(On whether he wants to play for the Jets) “My all has always been to be a Jet and fulfill my full potential as a Jet and try to get to the Super Bowl. I’m never going to stop with my passion and my goals.”
