JAGUARS AT RAVENS – SUNDAY, DEC. 20
In Week 15, the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-12) travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens (8-5) at M&T Bank Stadium. Sunday’s game will be Jacksonville’s first matchup against Baltimore since its 44-7 victory against the Ravens at Wembley Stadium in 2017. The game will be broadcast regionally on CBS and locally on WJAX-47.
J-ROB HITS 1,000: RB James Robinson made history last week against the Titans, becoming the fourth undrafted rookie in NFL history to total at least 1,000 rushing yards, and the fastest to do so, on his longest rush of the season, a 47-yard gain in the fourth quarter. He also caught four passes for 16 yards against Tennessee, increasing his total scrimmage yards in 2020 to 1,361 and surpassing Colts RB Dominic Rhodes (1,328 in 2001) for the most scrimmage yards by an undrafted rookie in NFL history.
Robinson’s 1,000-yard milestone in the NFL added to his lifetime of production, which includes 4,444 rushing yards at Illinois State (second-most in school history) and 9,045 yards rushing at Rockford Lutheran High School(the most in Illinois High School Association history).

· With 70 rushing yards, Robinson will surpass Rhodes for the most rushing yards in a single season (1,104) by an undrafted rookie in NFL history.
· With 18 scrimmage yards, Robinson will surpass RB Maurice Jones-Drew (2006) for the second-most scrimmage yards by a rookie in franchise history.
· With four receptions, Robinson will become the first undrafted rookie running back to total 50 receptions in a single season and the first undrafted rookie at any position to do since Allen Hurns in 2014.
· With 65 rushing yards and one scrimmage TD, Robinson will join RBs Ezekiel Elliot (2016) and Saquon Barkley (2018) as the only rookies in the NFL since 2016 to total 1,100-plus rushing yards and 10-plus TDs through the first 15 weeks of a season.

JACK ATTACK: LB Myles Jack registered a team-leading 10 tackles in Week 14 against the Titans, increasing his season total to 95. Jack is five tackles away from becoming the sixth Jaguars player in franchise history with two 100-plus tackle seasons. Jack’s 8.6 tackles per game are the fifth-most in the AFC. Jack and Ravens LB Patrick Queen are the only players in the NFL this season with 90-plus tackles and at least one INT, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Jack was part of a defense that limited the Ravens to a franchise-low 64 passing yards the last time the two teams met on Sept. 24, 2017.

RAVENS RIVALRY: The Jaguars hold a 12-9 lead over the Ravens in the all-time series, including a 1-0 record since Doug Marrone became head coach in 2017. Jacksonville defeated Baltimore, 44-7, in their most recent contest at Wembley Stadium, marking the sixth-largest positive point differential in team history (+37) and the largest point differential in Jacksonville’s six London games.
In the first contest between the two teams on Nov. 10, 1996, Jacksonville defeated Baltimore, 30-27, on a game-winning TD run from QB Mark Brunell with 41 seconds remaining. Brunell threw for 354 yards and ran for 58 yards in the victory and remains the only player in franchise history to throw for 350-plus yards and run for 50-plus yards in the same game.

ROOKIE CLASS CONTINUING TO SHINE: The Jaguars rookie class leads all NFL rookie classes in combined scrimmage yards (2,181) and total TDs (15). The Jaguars have three rookies with at least two TDs this season: RB James Robinson (seven), WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (two) and WR Collin Johnson (two).
Rookie DE/LB K’Lavon Chaisson played at LSU with Baltimore’s leading tackler, LB Patrick Queen. In the Tigers’ 63-28 win against Oklahoma in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Chaisson registered six tackles, including 2.0 sacks, while Queen finished with a team-high eight tackles to help lead the Tigers to the CFP National Championship Game.
After totaling a season-high two QB hits against Minnesota, Chaisson bested that number and was credited with three QB hits against Tennessee in Week 14.

DOMINANT D-LINEMEN: DL Dawuane Smoot started his third consecutive game in Week 15 and, in those three starts, he has recorded seven tackles, 3.0 sacks and one forced fumble. Smoot brought down QB Baker Mayfield once in Week 12 and then dropped QB Kirk Cousins twice in Week 13. He forced a fumble on WR Corey Davis in the second quarter last week against the Titans which DT Doug Costin recovered.
Costin has started four consecutive games and tallied 25 tackles, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery this season. An undrafted rookie from Miami (Ohio), Costin’s 25 tackles are the second-most among all undrafted rookies in the NFL and the most among all undrafted rookie defensive linemen.
QUOTABLE: “Doug [Costin]’s a little bit like James [Robinson] as far as when he came in here with not a lot of opportunity, to continue to work, and I’ve always said this, to a point where we’re sitting there saying, ‘Hey listen, do we put him on the practice squad thinking that no one’s going to see him because we haven’t played any preseason games?’ We made a decision that let’s not even take our chances, let’s put him on there [the roster]. We saw something that we liked in that period of time we were in training camp and then just waiting for the opportunity to put him out there.
