JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie WR/CBJayson Stanley to the practice squad and placed rookie WR Terry Godwin on the team’s practice squad reserve/injured list, the club announced today.
Stanley, 6-2, 207, spent the 2019 training camp with the Atlanta Falcons and Weeks 7-9 on the Dolphins’ practice squad. He played WR in college and converted to CB during his time with the Falcons. He appeared in 37 games at the University of Georgia, playing primarily on special teams, and caught three passes for 32 yards and one TD. A Fairburn, Ga. native, he attended Creekside High School.
Stanley will wear No. 14.
