Jaguars Promote LB Joe Giles-Harris To Active Roster

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted undrafted rookie LB Joe Giles-Harris (pronounced JILES) from the practice squad to their active roster, the club announced today. To make room, the Jaguars waived second-year CB Parry Nickerson. The team also released QB Chase Litton from the practice squad.

Giles-Harris, 6-2, 234, was on the Jaguars’ practice squad from Weeks 1-7 after spending training camp and the offseason program with the team. He attended Duke and played in 34 games for the Blue Devils, compiling 312 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. As a senior in 2018, Giles-Harris finished with 80 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. He attended St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) High School and earned all-league, all-county, all-metro and all-state honors as a senior.

Giles-Harris wears No. 43. The Jaguars have 53 players on their active roster and two openings on their 10-man practice squad.
