JAGUARS IN THE COMMUNITY

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Jaguars will spend the morning at Biltmore Elementary participating in two programs designed to promote child health and safety and celebrate the Jaguars’ 25th season.  Media are invited to cover both events.  Interview opportunities will be available.  Interested media should RSVP to Amanda Holt at holtaf@nfl.jaguars.com. 

WALK TO SCHOOL DAY WITH A JAGUARS PLAYER PRESENTED BY ALERT TODAY FLORIDA

What:Jaguars OL Will Richardson Jr. will lead students in a walk around the block near the school, assisted by school staff and parents. The walk is designed to promote the importance of being a role model for young students by walking with them to school and teaching them about pedestrian safety.

TEAMMATE TUESDAY PRESENTED BY MILLER ELECTRIC AND DUNKIN’

What:Jaguars players will visit Biltmore Elementary for Teammate Tuesday, a weekly grassroots initiative to engage school age children in the excitement of the Jaguars 25th season.  Students will be surprised with the arrival of The Prowler, players, cheerleaders, mascot and other Jaguars personalities for a pep rally with messages about working as a team.  After the program, children will be able to interact with Jaguars personalities participating in field day activities that encourage teamwork.
