Florida Panthers Announce Upcoming Promotional Nights

Military Appreciation Night, Hockey Fights Cancer, Additional Nights Announced at BB&T Center

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today upcoming promotional nights for 2020-21 season home games at BB&T Center.   

On February 25, the Panthers will host Military Appreciation Night at BB&T Center when they play the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. ET. Florida Panthers players will wear exclusive military jerseys during warm-ups. In addition, the club has donated tickets to the Feb. 25 Panthers game to Vet Tix. Members of the military can claim these tickets on a first come, first serve basis by visiting VetTix.org.  

The Panthers will celebrate Black History Month throughout February culminating with Black History Night on Feb. 27 when the Cats host the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. ET.  

Select video highlights from ‘Breaking Barriers,’ a roundtable discussion, can be seen on the scoreboard throughout the game. Fans can watch in-game videos and features that highlight influential Black leaders and players in the sport of hockey. The Panthers will be using exclusive Black History warm-up pucks that will be available for purchase at FLATeamShop.com.  

Throughout the game, 50/50 raffle tickets can be purchased at BB&T Center or online by visiting FlaPanthers5050.com with a portion of the proceeds going to Urban League of Broward County.  

In addition, the Panthers will honor a representative of the Urban League of Broward County as their BB&T now Truist Territory Teammate and Vietnam War veteran & Purple Heart recipient Willie Brinson through the club’s Heroes Among Us program presented by CITY Furniture.  

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Panthers on Monday, March 15 when the club hosts the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. ET. Players will wear special St. Patrick’s Day warm-up jerseys.  

The Panthers will celebrate Pride Night on Saturday, March 20 at 7 p.m. ET. A Panthers Pride hat will be available at FLATeamShop.com for purchase.  

The Florida Panthers and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will host their annual Hockey Fights Cancer night at BB&T Center on Saturday, April 24 vs. Carolina Hurricanes.  

Florida Panthers players will wear exclusive jerseys during warm-ups during Military Appreciation, St. Patrick’s Day and Hockey Fights Cancer games. Select autographed, warm-up worn jerseys will be available at online at FLATeamShop.com following each of these three special promo nights.  

Previously announced, the Panthers will don their Florida Panthers adidas Reverse Retro ADIZERO Authentic jerseys on the below dates: 

·         Feb. 20 at Detroit Red Wings  

·         Feb. 27 vs. Carolina Hurricanes 

·         March 13 vs. Chicago Blackhawks  

·         March 20 vs. Nashville Predators  

·         April 3 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets.  

The team crest is featured front and center, while palm tree graphics on the shoulders and pointed sleeve stripes add considerable design details that nod to the South Florida region.
