MIAMI (Jan. 9, 2020) – With the spring semester underway at FIU, the football program welcomed six new Panthers to campus this week as early enrollees.
Miles Frazier, Maljon Joor, Xavier McGriff, Jose Mirabal, Teddy Richardson and Kameren Williams all join FIU this spring. Frazier, Joor and Williams are listed as offensive linemen, while Xavier McGriff and Teddy Richardson are slated as wide receivers. Joor and Williams are transferring in from the JUCO ranks, while the quartet of Frazier, McGriff, Mirabal and Richardson will come in as true freshmen.
FIU’s 2020 signing class is regarded as one of the best in the conference by many national outlets, with the buzz only set to grow after National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 5. FIU signed 15 recruits during the early signing period back in December, for that release click here.
After going to a school-record third-straight bowl game last year, the Panthers will seek to continue that winning tradition in 2020 as Butch Davis and the Panthers open the season at home on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Jacksonville State.
