DETAILS: The Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) will hold the fifth annual DCC Celebrity Golf Tournament presented by Moss Construction at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa two 18-hole championship courses. The tournament will offer cancer fighters a chance to golf and interact with athletes and other celebrity guests. Funds raised from the golf tournament will benefit Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, a part of UHealth — the University of Miami Health System.
Golfers will tee off for a round of scramble-golf on the world-famous Soffer and Miller Courses, home to a number of LPGA and PGA events and enjoy the post event 19th hole Celebration presented by BBVA. For additional information, please visit DolphinsCancerChallenge.com.
This event is in advance of the DCC’s signature event, the DCC 10, taking place on Saturday, Feb. 29. In its tenth edition, the popular community event raises and donates 100 percent of participant-raised funds for innovative cancer research at Sylvester will include five bike routes through South Florida and a run/walk 5K presented by Ambetter – extending the opportunity for cancer fighters to be of all ages and all capabilities.
These initiatives align with the Miami Dolphins Foundation’s commitment of leveraging the power of sports and entertainment to inspire a healthier, more educated and united South Florida community.
