Talitha Diggs and Jasmine Moore are named to The Bowerman Women’s Post-NCAA Indoor Watch List

GAINESVILLE, Florida -Gator Track and Field athletes Talitha Diggs and Jasmine Moore were named to The Bowerman Women’s Post-NCAA Indoor Watch List Update, by the USTFCCCA on Wednesday afternoon.

Talitha Diggs seeks to build on her exceptional indoor season during the outdoor campaign. During the indoor season, Diggs earned First Team All-American and All-SEC and was named South Region’s Indoor Women’s Runner of the Year by the USTFCCCA. She broke the indoor school records in the 200m (20.61), 400m (50.15), and 4x400m. Diggs finished with bronze at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 400m (50.49). She also claimed gold at the SEC Indoor Championships in the 400m (50.15), setting an American record, collegiate record, and finishing with the ninth fastest time in world history.

Jasmine Moore continues to set the standard for women’s horizontal jumps being named USTFCCCA’s Women’s National Field Athlete of the Year, the second consecutive year she has earned the honor. This indoor season, she was named First Team All-American and First Team All-SEC. At the NCAA Indoor Championships, Moore became just the second woman to ever indoors clear 15m in the triple jump and 7m in the long jump. She is only one of four women in indoor or outdoor jumps to ever clear these marks. She set the American and collegiate record in the triple jump (15.12m/49’7.25″) and the collegiate record in the long jump (7.03m/23’0.75″) at the NCAA Indoors on her way to her fifth and sixth national title as a Gator. She has won every SEC and NCAA horizontal jump competition as a Gator.

The Gators begin the 2023 outdoor season tomorrow March 23rd, when they travel to compete at the FSU Relays in Tallahassee, Florida.
