Coral Springs to celebrate World Clean Up Day

From David Volz
The City of Coral Springs is joining the movement and celebrating World Clean Up Day on September 18, 2021, with a “Keep Coral Springs Beautiful” clean-up event.

Individuals who are interested in volunteering must be 14 years old or older. Volunteer hours are eligible for high school service hour credibility. Once registered, volunteers will receive via email their assigned location. The event begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 11 a.m. Lunch will be provided to volunteers after the clean-up.
Commissioner Nancy Metayer said, “The Keep Coral Springs Beautiful clean-up events reflect our ongoing commitment to not only take care of our community, but also our planet. The simple act of cleaning binds us to work towards the same goal – a clean city to live, work and play and provides a great opportunity for volunteerism.”

Additionally, Keep Coral Springs Beautiful, an Adopt-A-Street program in partnership with the Community Foundation of Broward, will host another event on November 20, 2021.
