Good Day everyone. My name is Rick Curti and I am the Founder and CEO of the Charlotte Bats. We are a grassroots movement to bring MLB to Charlotte. I wanted to introduce myself to the great people of Florida and tell them why I am I doing this? I grew up in Los Angeles and have always been a huge sports fan. I believe sports is a great way to get communities and people together. It doesn’t matter what political affiliation you belong to, How much money you make or what background you come from. Young and old everyone love sports and people love America’s past time. 
I moved to Charlotte 13 years ago not knowing what the next journey would be for me. I decided I wanted to bring Major League Baseball to the great state of North Carolina. MLB will create new jobs, bring hundreds of millions to the economy and provide a fun family atmosphere for everyone. Whether you are in North Carolina, bringing professional sports is huge for your community. We have also created a website at www.charlottebats.com. In 2019 we will be launching our online store where you purchase T shirts and jerseys and hats. I want to thank everyone for this opportunity and allowing me to share my passion.
