HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Lynn started the day with a team total of 298 only to improve by 19 shots for a five-under par 279.  The team’s 577 over 36-holes is 10 shots back of the leader Barry (567).  Columbus State and Lincoln Memorial (569) are tied for second with host West Florida (570) fourth.  Lynn is tied with Georgia Southwestern.
  • Bustos shot a non-descript 77 before going off for his 63 in the second round.  The Chilean senior had a clean scorecard with 12 pars, six birdies and one eagle to finish eight-under.  He is tied for sixth, three back of Barry’s Tyler Bakich for the lead.
  • Toto Gana is second on the squad with rounds of 73-72 for a 145 total.  He heads into the final day tied for 25th.

  • Lynn is fourth in the field for total pars with 117.
  • Bustos was one of only two golfers to sink an eagle putt on the day.
