Miami Lakes, Fla. (www.orangebowl.org) – Bradley D. Houser was elected as second vice chair of the Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) at the organization’s annual elections in February. Bradley is a partner with the law firm Holland & Knight LLP in Miami, Fla. and co-chairs the firm’s South Florida Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group. Bradley became a member of the OBC in 2009, was elected as a board at-large member in 2015 and subsequently served as the secretary on the executive committee from 2016-2020. He was elected again as a board at-large member last year. He has served in leadership roles on a number of OBC committees including chair of the legal committee, basketball host committee and ticket sales and pricing committees, as well as vice-chair of the football team host committee. “It is a tremendous honor to have been elected to the office of second vice chair of the Orange Bowl Committee,” said Houser. “Since 1935, this outstanding organization has been committed to making a difference in the South Florida community by virtue of hosting the annual and iconic Capital One Orange Bowl football game and by sponsoring and promoting a variety of youth sports initiatives, community programs and legacy gifts. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members, the Orange Bowl staff and our partners to continuing the successful tradition of positively impacting South Florida throughout the year.” The civic organizations Bradley has been involved with outside of the Orange Bowl Committee include the Beacon Council (former executive committee and board member), St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School (Board of Trustees, former chair), Iowa Law School Foundation (lifetime honorary board member), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. Bradley received his undergraduate degree from Drake University and his Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Iowa College of Law. He resides in Miami with his wife Susana. Together they have two adult children, Alexandra and Jason. President and Chair John P. (Jack) Seiler leads the Orange Bowl Committee in the current 2021-22 campaign with president and chair-elect Frank Gonzalez and first vice chair Yvonne Turner Johnson, M.D. slated to follow him to the president and chair position preceding Houser.
