MIAMI (Nov. 27, 2019) – The FIU men’s basketball program welcomes back its alumni to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Saturday, January 18, for the Panthers’ game against Middle Tennessee. Tipoff from the Conference USA clash is set for 7 p.m. ET.
“We are thrilled to announce the date of our alumni game against Middle Tennessee,” head coach Jeremy Ballard said. “It is not only an opportunity to celebrate our prestigious alumni, but it’s also a great chance to remember the 25th anniversary of the 1995 NCAA Tournament team.”
The 2019-2020 campaign marks the 25th anniversary of the banner season, which resulted in the program’s first NCAA appearance.
“The [1994-95] team set the standard for conference tournament success for our program, which we chase every season,” Ballard said. “Our entire program and department welcomes all of our alumni back on January 18 as we celebrate their achievements and commitment to FIU.”
