LAKELAND, Fla. – Lynn University’s women’s basketball team won its fourth-straight game on Saturday evening, defeating Sunshine State Conference (SSC) foe Florida Southern College on the road 77-67.

STATS OF THE GAME:
· Taylor Jones led all Lynn scorers with 18 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the free-throw line, adding seven rebounds.
· Sarah Baer posted 16 points and nine rebounds, going an efficient 7-for-10 from the field.
· Loie Webb joined Jones and Baer in double digits with 13 points, knocking in all three of her three-point attempts.
· Angeni Worley provided a spark off the bench with three triples and a season-high 14 points.
· The Blue and White outscored FSC 45-26 in the second and fourth quarters combined.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
· The win over Florida Southern is the first for the Fighting Knights in 12 meetings dating back to Jan. 11, 2014.
· Lynn last won three straight SSC games to close out 2018-19, downing Florida Tech, Barry and Tampa.
· Baer now has eight double-digit outings in her first ten games in the Blue and White and has currently scored in double figures in five straight.

Lynn will take a break from SSC play with two non-conference games at home versus Elizabeth City St. (Dec. 19) and Felician (Dec. 21) to close out its 2019 slate. Both games tip-off at 5 p.m.
