2020 JAGUARS EXERCISE TEAM OPTIONS FOR WR CHRIS CONLEY AND S JARROD WILSON

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have exercised their team options for fifth-year WR Chris Conley and fourth-year S Jarrod Wilson, the club announced today. Conley is now under contract with the Jaguars through the 2020 season and Wilson is now under contract through the 2021 season.

Conley, 6-3, 205, signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent prior to the 2019 season and set a career-high for receptions (47), receiving yards (775) and receiving average (16.5) in his first season in Jacksonville. He appeared in all 16 games (14 starts) and caught five TD passes, including a 70-yard TD reception in a victory against the Jets, the Jaguars’ longest TD of the 2019 season. He also tallied two TDs in the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 15 win at Oakland, including the game-winning score with 0:31 left in the game. He has totaled 151 career receptions for 2,013 yards and 11 TDs.

Wilson, 6-2, 210, originally signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie in 2016 and has appeared in 63 career games with 18 starts. Wilson started all 16 games in 2019 and led the team in total snaps played (1,186) and tackles (73). He registered career-highs in games started, tackles, passes defensed (six) and interceptions (two). The University of Michigan product was one of five players in the NFL to play 100 percent of their team’s defensive snaps in 2019.
