BIRMINGHAM – After facing eight shots, turning back all three that were on target to record her third clean sheet of the season against Charlotte on Sept. 14, Anika Toth was named American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.
After the shutout, Toth lowered GAA to ACC-best 0.43 which is currently 19th best in the country.
Up next is the Blazers’ AAC home opener against East Carolina Sept. 21. at PNC Field.

BLAZER BUDDIES KIDS CLUB
Blazer Buddies is the new official kids club of UAB Athletics and is open to all kids ages 12 and under. Blazer Buddies will receive a Blazer Buddies Kids Club ID which grants admission to all home men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, softball, and baseball games. Blazer Buddies Kids Club members will also be eligible for discounted tickets to the UAB football game versus Louisiana on Sept. 16 and select men’s basketball games.
