Women’s Basketball Finalizes 2019-20 Schedule
BOCA RATON, Fla. – After notching its first Sunshine State Conference (SSC) postseason appearance since 2016-17, Lynn University’s women’s basketball program looks to build on last year’s success, announcing its official schedule on Friday.
Lynn will open up its official slate on Friday, Nov. 8, playing host to a four-team tournament which features Central State (OH), Benedict and Palm Beach Atlantic. The Fighting Knights will face off with Central St. and Benedict on Nov. 8-9, respectively.
The Blue and White will play five home non-conference games in Nov. to begin the season before traveling to Embry-Riddle on Nov. 23 to begin SSC play.
Head Coach Julia Huddleston’s squad takes on Eckerd, whom bounced Lynn from the SSC Tournament last season, on the road on Jan. 4 before welcoming the Tritons to the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center on Feb. 15.
Senior Day, Lynn’s final regular season home game, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 2 p.m. as the Blue and White match up with Tampa.
Postseason play begins with the SSC Championship Quarterfinals on Mar. 3. The semifinals and finals will then occur on Mar. 5 and Mar. 8, respectively. First round games will be at the site of the higher seed with the semifinals and finals to be played at the home of the SSC’s regular season champion.
