IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC:
In his first two games since Nov. 23, Jerar Encarnacion had back-to-back two-hit efforts, raising his batting average to .324 (23×71) on the season. Has been splitting playing time between 1B/RF.
IN VENEZUELA:
Javier Sanoja went 4×13 in five games played this week, hitting safely in four contests. He made his LVBP debut at 2B, but has since split time between RF/CF.
