DETROIT, MI – The Motor City Cruise announced today they have acquired Justin Turner from the available player pool.
Turner (6’4”, 205 lbs.) spent last season with the Motor City Cruise and averaged 8.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.4 rebounds in per game during the G League Regular Season. The Detroit native scored a total of 145 points, grabbed 40 total rebounds, and tallied 29 assists in 297 minutes of action last season.
He graduated from Bowling Green State University and is holds the record for most points scored in a career (2,077). He is the only Falcon to score over 2,000 points in an entire career at Bowling Green State University.
MOTOR CITY CRUISE FALL TO SIOUX FALLS SKYFORCE
DETROIT, MI – The Motor City Cruise began their road trip in South Dakota, taking on the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The Motor City Cruise fell in a score of 113-102.
For Sioux Falls, Orlando Robinson led the way with 28 points. He grabbed 10 rebounds to secure a double-double. DJ Stewart would follow up, dropping 27 points and grabbing six rebounds for Sioux Falls. As for Motor City, Braxton Key secured a double-double, dropping 22 points, and grabbing 10 rebounds. Jules Bernard would follow up with 17 points.
The Motor City Cruise fell to a 3-10 record and Sioux Falls Skyforce improved to 7-6 in the Winter Showcase. The Cruise are back in action tomorrow on December 10th. They will once again take Sioux Falls. Tip-off is slated for 8:00pm EST.
