Who The XFL Should Talk To?

BY RICK CURTI

Good Day Everyone And Happy Easter. Welcome To Another Edition of Rick’s Rants.

The XFL has been incredibly busy with 2 recent Coach/GM Hirings with Long Time Coordinator Kevin Gillbride for New York and Former Cincinnati Bengals Coordinator Jonathan Hayes for St Louis. The hirings have been incredibly inpressive with Bob Stoops leading The Dallas Organization and Pep Hamilton leading the Washington DC Group. Jim Zorn in Seattle, Mark Trestman leading Tampa Bay. That leaves Los Angeles and Houston as the only vacancies?

So who do you think will be the next coach? I have a name in mind and he would be an excellent choice.

Former Ohio State Coordinator and Tampa Bay Head Coach Greg Schiano! Schiano recently made the news this month when he left the Patriots after only a couple of months? Why did he leave so quickly?

I have no information whether Commissioner Luck or XFL Founder Vince McMahon have approached him or if he may be interested? Schiano would bring passion, determination, old style brand of football. Which is what the New XFL is looking for and he’s a big name in both the NFL and college. I can totally see him at any of the cities. I can see Schiano being interested because he would also be the GM and can recruit just like when he was the Head Coach for Rutgers University.

So what do you think? Would Greg Schiano make a good fit in the XFL and if not who would you like to see? Have a great day everyone and until next time
