WGOLF – Muta Leads #3 Sharks After Round One at NCAA South Regional

GAINESVILLE, GA. – Sophomore Haruka Muta got off to a hot start to lead the Sharks at the NCAA D2 South Regional. Muta fired an opening round of (E) 72, on Monday to place her tied for first. As a team, Nova Southeastern currently stands in ninth on the leaderboard at 26-over par.

How it Happened 

·Lynn and Anderson are tied after day one (+9). 

·Muta started her day with two pars before hitting a birdie on the third hole. The sophomore continued her stellar play, hitting back-to-back birdies on hole 15 and 16, enroute to an (E) finish for the day. She sits tied for first with Maria Morales (Limestone), and Adriana Iribarren (Lynn). 

· Ellen Andersson  finished the day shooting (+6) 78, giving her a share of 32nd, while Olivia Gronborg, Ellen Ramstedt, and Emma Larsen finished shooting (+10) 82, and are tied for 50th. 

· Muta is tied for first after one day of competition.
