Week 13 Postgame Notes: Jacksonville Jaguars at Minnesota Vikings

The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the Minnesota Vikings, 27-24 in overtime, in Week 13. It marked the Jaguars’ first overtime game since a 20-17 victory against the Chargers on Nov. 12, 2017.

J-ROB CONTINUES RECORD-BREAKING SEASON: RB James Robinson turned in 108 scrimmage yards and one TD, becoming the first undrafted rookie in NFL history to total 1,250 scrimmage yards through the first 13 weeks of a season.

Robinson has now gained 90-plus scrimmage yards in six consecutive games. Robinson’s streak is the longest active streak in the NFL and he’s the only rookie in franchise history to post six consecutive games with 90-plus scrimmage yards.

In 12 games this season, Robinson has totaled 968 rushing yards, 310 receiving yards and 9 TDs.

SCHO-TIME: LB Joe Schobert recorded his second consecutive game with a takeaway and scored his first-career TD on a 43-yard pick-six in the third quarter. He has recorded two INTs this year and totaled six INTs since 2019, the most of any NFL linebacker in that span. Schobert finished with 12 tackles, including a sack, and joins LB Mike Peterson (Week 10, 2005) and DE Tony Brackens (Week 12, 1999) as the only players in franchise history with 1+ sack and a pick-six in the same game.

VISKA 2 LIVE: WR Laviska Shenault Jr. scored his second TD of the season on a 28-yard pass from QB Mike Glennon with 12:33 remaining in the first quarter to give the Jaguars a 6-0 lead. Shenault is one of three Jaguars rookies with multiple TDs this season and after a fourth-quarter TD run from Robinson, the Jaguars rookie class has now scored 14 scrimmage TDs this season, the highest mark in the NFL by any rookie class.

Shenault finished with three catches for 38 yards and one TD and two rushes for 30 yards. In 10 games this year, Shenault has caught 36 passes for 392 yards and two TDs.  He is the first wide receiver in franchise history to record 30 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards and a TD in the first half of a game.

JACK ATTACK: LB Myles Jack made 11 tackles and recovered a fumble in Vikings’ territory. Jack has recorded 85 tackles this season and today’s game marked the third game of his career with 10-plus tackles and a takeaway.
