In the 54-hole event in Chattanooga, South Florida will compete in a 16-team field. Along with USF, the field includes Campbell, Charlotte, host Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Colorado State, East Tennessee State, Iowa, Lipscomb, Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, North Florida, Texas-San Antonio, Western Kentucky, Xavier, and Yale.

The tournament will start with 18 holes on Sunday, April 7, continue with 18 holes on Monday, April 8, and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday, April 9. Tee times for Sunday and Monday are set for 8:30 a.m. ET with a shotgun start on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. ET.

The Bulls will be led by returning senior Melanie Green, ranked No. 25 nationally, coming off her second win of the season and third as a Bull in the Mountain View Collegiate. Green, who tied her career-best and program record round of 64 (-8) in the final round at the Westbrook Invitational, has earned AAC Women’s Golfer of the Week three times in the Spring. She has shot par or better in 23 of 24 rounds this season. Green captured her second individual win as a Bull in the FAU Paradise Invitational and was named the AAC Women’s Golfer of the Month for September and October.

At the Mountain View Collegiate Green got off to a hot start, opening with a 67 (-5) in which she recorded seven birdies, offset by two bogies. She followed with an even par 72, which left her in a tie for third place heading into the final round. A closing 66 (-6), with eight birdies, sealed the three-stroke victory. Green led the field with 17 birdies, tied for the lead in scoring on the par 5’s at -6, and was second in the field in par 4 scoring at -5.

Joining the charge for the Bulls are senior Alizee Vidal, who set career-best records for low 54-hole score 208 (-8) and low round 68 (-4) in the final round, in which she posted six birdies, at the Westbrook Invitational, graduate transfer Alyssa Montgomery, who carded her lowest round as a Bull, a 68 (-4) in the final round to help the Bulls close out the win at the Mountain View Classic, freshman Emma Falcher who posted two top 10 finishes in her first action as a Bull in the Fall, and junior Leonor Medeiros, who has three top 10 finishes this season.
