USF to Welcome Fans to Raymond James Stadium Starting With Saturday’s Homecoming Clash vs. ECU

Bulls to welcome fans to four home games starting Oct. 10 vs. ECU;

New stadium enhancements and safety measures

TAMPA, OCT. 5, 2020 – USF Athletics announces plans for fan attendance at Raymond James Stadium beginning with Saturday’s homecoming clash with ECU, set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+.

For the Bulls’ two home games in October, including Saturday’s game and a Friday, Oct. 23 primetime clash vs. Tulsa (7:30 p.m. on ESPN), USF plans to welcome fans to approximately 8,000 lower bowl seats as well as just under 3,000 seats in suites in accordance with university approved phased fan attendance plans for USF football games. Seating will be in physically-distanced pods ranging in size from two persons to six persons, with a limited number of single seats available. USF will allot at least 1,700 of those available seats to USF students, mostly in their traditional north end zone seating area.

USF will have no more than 25 percent capacity in Raymond James Stadium during the 2020 season. Athletics and the university will review stadium operations from the first two games with fans and current factors in the community related to COVID-19 before making further decisions on stadium capacity for its final two home games of the season vs. Navy (Saturday, Nov. 21, TBA) and the War on I-4 vs. UCF (Friday, Nov. 27, TBA). There will be no tailgating allowed in Raymond James Stadium parking lots at USF games in 2020.

All games will be ticketed on a single-game basis. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-Go-Bulls or visiting USFBullsTix.com.

USF has transitioned to all mobile ticketing beginning in the 2020 season. Information regarding the new mobile ticketing app and the security and ease of accessing tickets via mobile device will be announced Tuesday.

The Tampa Sports Authority has also made several enhancements to Raymond James Stadium to help create a safe, comfortable and convenient experience for fans attending games. Some of the highlights of those are:

CASHLESS: All transactions will now be cashless at Raymond James Stadium. Should you forget to bring cash, reverse ATM machines will be available throughout the stadium that will allow you to load cash onto a card that may be used at stadium vendors.

NO BAGS: In order to limit the transfer of items between stadium staff and fans as well as to expedite entry and reduce lines, no bags larger than a small clutch will be permitted to be brought into the stadium this fall.

FACE MASKS: Face masks will be required to be worn by all fans and all stadium staff at all times upon entering Raymond James Stadium.

HYGIENE UPGRADES: Upgrades have been made to increase the number and accessibility of hand-washing stations and sanitation kiosks throughout the stadium.

PEDESTAL SCANNERS: Pedestal ticket scanners with tap-and-go technology have been installed at every Raymond James Stadium gate, eliminating the exchange of phones between stadium staff and fans and speeding stadium entry.
