TAMPA, Nov. 15, 2019 – USF students attending Bulls athletics events throughout the year will now build points toward many big prizes, including driving away in a 2019 Ford EcoSport SE donated by Ford of Wesley Chapel, Terry Mullane and the Parks family from Parks Motor Group.

“USF students’ energy, passion and support are so vital to a tremendous home-field advantage and atmosphere for all of our athletic teams,” Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly said. “We wanted to do something big to show our appreciation and reward the most passionate students. We are grateful for Terry Mullane, the Parks family and the Parks Motor Group for helping us make this happen.”

The environmentally friendly SUV will be on display at Saturday night’s football game vs. No. 17 Cincinnati at Raymond James Stadium and throughout the year at multiple athletic events.

Students can win the vehicle simply by downloading and activating the HerdPerks app and attending games for all USF sports, as well as other USF Athletics events around campus and the Bay area. Students’ attendance will be logged via geofencing on the HerdPerks app, which can be downloadedHERE.

The HerdPerks app takes the USF student fan experience to the next level and allows students to get rewarded for their loyalty and attendance. Students check-in at events throughout the year to rack up points and unlock prizes all season long. Top points can be gained by attending USF games, which earn a standard 15 points but can also be designated as double and triple points events, and smaller point totals can be accrued by attending events such as Horns Up Rallys, radio shows, away game watch parties and more. All events earning points will be listed on the HerdPerks app.

Attendance at the USF vs. Cincinnati football game, 7 p.m. kick at Raymond James Stadium, will count for 30 points, or double the usual points for game attendance.

Several prizes will be presented to USF students with the most Herd Perks points at the conclusion of the 2019-20 USF Athletics season, including a complimentary campus meal plan, spring break getaway and the grand prize of the 2019 Ford EcoSport SE.
