TAMPA, FLA. Feb. 19, 2021 – The University of South Florida softball team returns to action after its opening weekend with a doubleheader against Jacksonville University on Sunday. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 3 p.m., with the first pitch in the second game occurring approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Due to virus mitigation measures and the size of the venue, fan attendance at USF Softball Stadium is via team pass list only. All regular season home games in the 2021 softball season will be broadcast on the ESPN+ platform.

USF leads the all-time series against Jacksonville, 17-1. USF won the last meeting in 2017, a 5-2 contest in Jacksonville. The Bulls are on a six game winning streak against the Dolphins, with JU’s last victory coming on March 10, 2007 in a 3-2, neutral site victory.

Brooke Hartman was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll for her efforts in the season opener against Florida. In the first game of the season, Hartman went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run, playing a role in all three runs the Bulls scored.
