Tampa, Fla., Oct. 18, 2024 – South Florida men’s soccer (5-3-4, 3-2-0) secured their fourth shutout win of the season against Memphis (6-6-2, 3-1-1) at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on Friday night, 1-0.
In the 32nd minute, Tyler Richardson connected on a long-range goal to find his first career score. During the final stanza, the Tigers pressured South Florida offensively, but goalkeeper Felix Schaefer prevented Memphis from connecting on a game-tying goal to lock in the shutout victory.
NOTABLE NUMBERS

- The Bulls had more set-piece opportunities in the first half, 7-0.
- Felix Schaefer collected his fourth shutout win of the season. It is his second shutout victory in the last three matches. It is his sixth shutout of the year.
