AUSTIN, Texas (June 12, 2021) – The University of South Florida Bulls (31-28) will take on the University of Texas Longhorns (45-15) for the first time in program history. The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to the College World Series in Omaha.

The Bulls secured a regional berth by winning the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship. Picked to finish last in the AAC preseason coaches poll, the Bulls entered the conference tournament as the No. 6 seed and hoisted their first tournament championship trophy since 1995 (Metro Conference).

South Florida won its first-ever NAA Super Regional in Gainesville last weekend as the No. 4 seed by taking down nationally-ranked and host Florida, perennial powerhouse Miami, and South Alabama in the winner-take-all finale.

Head coach Billy Mohl (4th season) has named Jack Jasiak (6-7, 2.89 ERA) and Collin Sullivan (3-3, 3.69) as USF’s starting pitchers in games one and two, respectively.
