UF XC: Valby Named SEC Women’s Co-Runner of the Week

Valby adds to her weekly accolades after performance at Nuttycombe.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Parker Valby was named SEC Women’s Co-Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Just a day after being named USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Women’s Athlete of the Week, the 2022 SEC Cross Country Champion is being recognized for her first-place finish in the Women’s 6k Championship at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.

This is the second time Valby has been named SEC Women’s Runner of the Week in her Cross Country career, the previous time occurring after competing in the Arturo Barrios Invite in 2022.

Valby was also named NCAA Track and Field Women’s Runner of the Week, as announced on the NCAA Track & Field social media pages.
