The Gators will welcome Florida State and South Florida to the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex this weekend in part of the 2025 Florida Invitational
GAINESVILLE, Fla.-No. 19 Florida is set to start its spring season on Saturday morning, hosting No. 24 Florida State and South Florida in the 2025 Florida Invitational. This weekend’s competition will stretch from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, featuring both singles and doubles play.
The Gators will initiate play against the Seminoles on Saturday with two doubles matches going out at 10 a.m. There will be a second round of doubles going out at 11 a.m. and the start of singles competition is set for 1:00 p.m.
Sunday’s schedule is the same with all times and court assignments subject to change for both days of competition. Due to predicted weather, the Invitational will most likely utilize both the indoor and outdoor courts this weekend.

“Everything is so exciting for me-being out on the court with the team has been so much fun. I am itching to get going this weekend and to play some matches, see where we are. More than anything though, it just feels really good to be in Gainesville and out practicing with the team.”

“The message that this team is going to hear over and over is about the Florida standards and the Florida culture. When you put on this Gator gear you are going to hold yourself a certain way-win or lose you are a part of something special. We are not looking for results right now-those will come, we are just training and putting together good practices, and this weekend is a practice for us.”

As a team, Florida finds itself at No. 19 in the Preseason ITA rankings and No. 4 in the SEC preseason coaches’ poll.
