GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Two women’s golfers – Addie Baggarly and Annabell Fuller – will represent the University of Florida at the historic Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the pair announced Friday.

On April 4, 2018, Gators Golf alum and current Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley announced the commencement of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the only event played by women on the prestigious course. The event was established to inspire greater interest and participation in the women’s game by creating a new, exciting and rewarding pathway for these players to fulfill their dreams.

With the Masters played the following week, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur is considered one of the most esteemed amateur golf events for women.

Annabell Fuller has experience at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur after competing in the inaugural tournament in 2019. The highly touted recruit enrolled early at Florida, joining the women’s golf program in the spring of 2020. The sophomore is coming off of a fall season where she notched two top-10 finishes in just three outings.
