UF WGOLF: Florida Women’s Golf Releases 2022-23 Schedule

The program’s 51st season tees off at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate Sept. 12-14.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida women’s golf team released its 2022-23 schedule on Friday, featuring a total of nine tournaments with four in the fall and five in the spring.

“This is a really exciting schedule that will assist us in accomplishing our goals this year,” head coach Emily Glaser said. “It allows us to face the best competition, see challenging golf courses to test our games and travel to different parts of the country so we are prepared for the post season. Coach Beth [Wu] and I are so excited to have the team back on campus soon and get started on this journey with a special and talented group of young women.”

The Gators tee off the program’s 51st season on the national stage at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate Sept. 12-14 at Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. Since 2014, the annual tournament features 12 of the top Division I women’s programs in the country. This year’s field includes National Runner-up Oregon, along with 10 teams that finished in the final top-25 Golfweek rankings.

Florida follows up the season opener at the “Mo” Morial Invitational in Bryan, Texas at the Traditions Golf Club from Sept. 20-21, marking the first-ever appearance in the event. UF concludes the fall at the Windy City Classic (Oct. 3-4) and Standford Intercollegiate (Oct. 21-23).

The spring begins on Feb. 12 at the Northrop Grumman, an event where the Gators set the third lowest team round score (275, -9) in program history. Florida finally returns to the ‘Sunshine State’ for the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 19-21) in Melbourne and then plays host to the 51st VyStar Gators Invitational on March 4-5 at Mark Bostick Golf Course. The Gators look to win the event for the eighth straight year and 26th time overall.

Back-to-back trips to the state of Georgia wrap up the regular season in the Valspar Augusta Invitational (March 11-12) and the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic (March 24-26).

The SEC Championship is scheduled for April 12-16 at Greystone Golf Club in Birmingham, Ala. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 8-10 followed by the NCAA Championships May 19-24 in Scottsdale, Ariz. at Grayhawk Golf Club.
