Florida will tee it up at 11:50 a.m. ET in the first round of regional play.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida women’s golf team travels to Stanford, Calif. to compete in the 2021 NCAA Regional Tournament. Competition is set to begin on Monday, May 10 and continue through Wednesday, May 12.

Format: The NCAA Regional format includes three rounds of stroke play over three days of competition. At the conclusion of play, the top six teams and three individuals from non-qualifying teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, set to begin on May 21 at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Course Information: The regional is being held at the prestigious Stanford Golf Course, a club that is consistently ranked as one of the finest courses in the nation. Over its history, the course has played host to U.S. Open Qualifying, Women’s NCAA Championships, NCAA Regionals, Pac-12 Championships and the USGA Junior Amateur Qualifying. The Gators competed at Stanford last season at the Stanford Intercollegiate, bringing in a T5 finish in a field of 17 behind a 4-over par overall scorecard.

Tournament History: When the Gators take the course in Stanford, they will be looking to qualify for their 29th NCAA National Championship. Florida’s last championship run came in 2019 when the Gators finished tied for second place in Norman, Okla. behind sophomore Elin Esborn’s 3-under par scorecard that placed her in a tie for fifth individually. Junior Sierra Brooks finished one stroke behind Esborn and tied for eighth.
Last time out: The Gators traveled to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in the SEC Championship, but their time was cut short after narrowly missing the top-eight cut to advance to match play.
Marina Escobar and Annabell Fuller led the way for Florida, posting 4-under par 212 cards through three rounds of stroke play to tie for 25th.
Addie Baggarly finished one stroke behind her Gators teammates, finishing 3-under par and tied for 28th while Maisie Filler and Lauren Waidner rounded out the Florida lineup.
Two Gators Compete at Augusta: Sophomore Annabell Fuller and senior Addie Baggarly competed at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur last month. The tournament featured an elite class of 82 female golfers with the opportunity to play at the prestigious Augusta National course. Both Baggarly and Fuller competed in a closed practice at Augusta on Friday, while Fuller competed in the final round after making the top-30 cut after two rounds of play. She finished tied for 22nd..
