This is her sixth weekly honor of the season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After helping lead the Gators to a perfect 3-0 record in conference play last week, Alexis Stucky was honored by the Southeastern Conference.
The league announced Monday that Stucky was the SEC Freshman of the Week, her sixth conference honor this season.
Over the course of the three matches, the rookie setter averaged 10.73 assists per set, 2.18 digs per set, 0.82 kills per set and 0.73 blocks per set.
In the Wednesday matchup against Auburn, the Laramie, Wy. native lead the team to a .363 clip, while dishing out 37 helpers in the sweep. She also recorded six digs, four blocks and one kill in the victory.
Stucky tied her career-high in kills in the first matchup against Arkansas, posting five in the three-set win. She also recorded 27 assists, four digs, two aces and one block on the afternoon.
In the final match of the week, the rookie registered her fifth double-double of the season, tallying 54 assists and 14 digs. En route to leading the team to a .253 hitting efficiency, she also recorded three blocks and one ace.
The Gators are back in action on Friday when the Missouri Tigers come to town. First serve is slated for 7 p.m. on SEC Network +.
